Chelyn Heideman

Chelyn, who is 21 and from Brighton, was a ten year 4-H member in Adams County where she was involved in several 4-H projects including horses, dogs, cake decorating, photography, art, canning, clothes and much more. She was a member of the Pure Country 4-H Club where and held offices such as president and scrapbooker. She received two scholarships through the 4-H horse program to further her education. Chelyn has also shown her dog at the Colorado State Fair. In addition, she is a member of Comanche Crossing Horseman’s Association where she competes in Gymkhanas. Chelyn is a 2004 graduate of Brighton High School where is played basketball, was a member of the peer help group B.I.O.N.I.C.S. and was also part of DECA where she went to State for role plays. Currently, Chelyn is attending the University of Northern Colorado where she studies to be a teacher. She has worked at Zion Lutheran Daycare for over 5 years and has been a member of Zion Lutheran church for 9 years. Chelyn is the daughter of Michael and Michele Heideman of Brighton. She has one sister Jacquelyn Heideman of Greeley. Her grandparents are Bobbi and Larry Jackson of Byers, Mildred Heideman of Brighton, and Charles Munch of Brighton.
