Coordinator's Checklist

 

Producing a quality pageant takes a lot of time and effort by many dedicated people.  To help you accomplish this we've compiled a checklist to help you remember all of those little details.  You may need to modify it some to meet your needs, either adding or deleting steps.  

 

Rules
Develop rulebook or make changes to current rules
Make copies and distribute to committee people and potential contestants

Applications
Make any necessary changes to information asked
Copy applications
Information letter (dates, locations, times, etc.)
Mail to contestants

Advertising
Develop flyers/pamphlets
Copy flyers/pamphlets and distribute
*  Former and potential contestants
*  Feed stores, western stores, other locations
*  Surrounding pageant committees

Pageant Location
Sleeping rooms
Banquet facility for meals, speeches, etc. if needed
Interview location
Modeling location
Arena for horsemanship
