Peyton Healy is the reigning 06-07 Jr. Miss Dacotah Stampede Rodeo Queen and Wessington Springs Foothills Jr. Queen. Peyton makes her home in Pukwana, SD with her parents Bret and Stephanie Healy. She is 14 years old and attends Chamberlain Middle School where she is active in Jr. High rodeo in addition to being the editor of her school paper and president of student council. Peyton has also enjoyed being named to Who’s Who Among American Middle School Students. Outside of school Peyton enjoys spending time with her friends, dancing, reading, shopping and planning her next scuba diving trip. Peyton is an active 4-H member competing on the Brown Co. Hippology and horse judging teams. Peyton also enjoys participating in 4-H rodeos as well as running her horse Snickers in NBHA and Jim River Riders horse club events. As an ambassador for South Dakota’s official #1 sport Rodeo, Peyton looks forward to representing her titles this summer at many South Dakota rodeos, festivals and fairs. Peyton invites you to join her this summer at the Dacotah Stampede Rodeo held in conjunction with the Brown County Fair August 13&14, 2007 at the Brown County Fairgrounds in Aberdeen, SD. The annual Rodeo promises to be “a good time had by all” with some of rodeos finest cowboys and cowgirls in attendance as well as award winning Korkow’s stock.
