Lindsey Harper
North Carolina High School Rodeo Queen

Lindsey Harper represents North Carolina as Miss NC High School Rodeo 2007-2008. The 16-year old junior from Bull Head, NC is the daughter of Allan and Renate Harper sister to Tyler, who is participating in his second year as a member of the Wrangler Division of High School Rodeo. 

An all-around cowgirl Lindsey competes in goat tying, breakaway roping, pole bending, barrel racing, and team roping. At the 2007 NHSRA Finals Rodeo in Springfield, IL she finished in the top five in the personality and written test portions of the queen's contest and top 10 in the personal interview and impromptu speech, finishing 17th overall.  In addition to rodeo, she enjoys playing softball, watching NASCAR, hanging out with friends, attending Church, and driving her truck.

Lindsey's goal as the 2007-2008 Queen is to raise awareness of the NCHSRA throughout the state and further increase the membership in the NCHSRA by highlighting the scholastic opportunities available as well as showing the fun and camaraderie that members enjoy.  "I have enjoyed each year I have participated in the NCHSRA and have watched it grow over the past 3 years that I have been a member."
