Kristina Maddocks
2007 South Dakota High School Rodeo Queen
 

Reigning as the 2007 South Dakota High School Rodeo Queen, Kristina Maddocks makes her home on her family's farm outside of Hecla, SD, which she shares with her parents, Ron and Paula Maddocks, as well as her younger brother, Rance. She is 16 years-old and a junior at Frederick Area High School, where she is an honor student that is active in high school rodeo, Oral Interpretation, drama, newsletter staff, girl's basketball statistician, cross-country team manager, Cotton Candy Team, band, chorus and math contest. She is the junior class president and vice president of the student council. She has also been named to Who's Who Among American High School Students. In the future, she plans to attend college to become a large animal veterinarian.

In 2006 Kristina also represented South Dakota as their queen at the National High School Finals Rodeo.  She received 3rd in the Written Test, 4th in Horsemanship and 14th overall in the Queen Contest. Some other events that Kristina plans to attend include the SDHSRA Annual Meeting, Northern Bull Riding Tour Finals, Badlands Circuit Finals, Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo and the 2007 South Dakota High School Rodeo Finals, as well as various high school practice rodeos and 4-H rodeos.
