Holly Soucie
Miss Sidney, IA Rodeo

Holly Soucie was honored to be chosen Miss Sidney Iowa Rodeo 2007/2008.  It was an honor that brought tears to her Grandfather's eyes.  She is the daughter of Ed and Kim Skillett and Clement Soucie and Roxie Anderson.

During Holly's freshman year of high school she became a member of the Iowa High School Rodeo Team.  Holly competed in barrels, poles, goat tying and breakaway calf roping.  She made it to the state finals in Fort Madison Iowa two years in a row for goat tying and breakaway calf roping.  She was chosen as the 2006-2007 Iowa High School Rodeo Queen.  During this reign she went to the National High School Rodeo Finals in Springfield Illinois where she placed in the top ten in her interview, and placed 6th in the Horsemanship reigning pattern

During her reign Holly will be promoting rodeo and keeping the western heritage alive.  She has several appearances scheduled for 200 and 2008, and will be adding a few of her own.  Holly wants to give guidance to the next generation of cowboys and cowgirls and help them achieve their dreams.

Holly wants to extend a warm thank you to everyone who makes the Sidney Iowa Rodeo and Miss Sidney Iowa Rodeo Queen Pageant possible.  It is an honor to be a part of the wonderful Sidney Iowa Rodeo history.
