Shawnee
Kay Sagers, the 11 year old daughter of Dallon and Kendra Sagers of
Moroni, Utah is excited to announce that she was crowned
the 2008 National Little Britches Rodeo Association Princess. The
NLBRA is one of the oldest and largest youth rodeo associations in
the country. Beginning 55 years ago, the NLBRA offers wholesome
national level rodeo experiences to youth ages 5-18.
Shawnee
is excited and honored to have the opportunity to represent
such an organization as their National Princess. The royalty pageant
was open to qualified NLBRA members ages eight to thirteen. Girls
from across the nation competed in the pageant. On her way to
winning the title
Shawnee
was also the winner of the appearance, modeling, and scored highest
in all age groups in both the personal interview and on the written
test.
As
their princess,
Shawnee
will have the opportunity to represent the National Little Britches
Rodeo Association at rodeos and other functions across the country.
Some of her travels will include the Wrangler National Finals
Rodeo in
Las Vegas
,
NV
this December, the Denver National Livestock Show and Rodeo and the
W.E.S.A. market in
Denver
,
CO
in January, and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in
Houston
,
TX
in March. She will also travel to other local, state, and
national functions promoting the National Little Britches Rodeo
Association.
Shawnee
is very excited and is looking forward representing the National
Little Britches Rodeo Association this coming year as their
